Why You Must Never, Ever Use The Suicide Grip when Bench Pressing


In my last post I talked about the five absolutely most important exercises for bodybuilders, and one of those exercises is – of course – the almighty bench press. We will of course discuss this exercise and virtually everything about it later, but for now let’s focus on how not to do it: Do not ever use the suicide grip (aka the underhand grip) when doing this exercise. It won’t help you, and it might very well hurt you. Like it did this guy:
